Annotated: 'Pavlov, famous Russian scientist, receives, at his home near Leningrad, a visit from another world famous scientist. Sir Frederick Banting of Toronto Canada. Both men are recipiants of the Nobel Prize and of the McLean (or McLeod) award of the University of Toronto.
Banting travelled to Leningrad in 1935 to attend the 15th International Physiological Congress.
