Autograph letter signed Charley [Best], written from Indianapolis and postmarked October 28, 1923. Best describes his visit to Boston and his talk to the students at the Harvard Medical School, during which Dr. Joslin read the telegram he had received from Banting announcing that Banting intended to share the Nobel Prize with Best, and that he wished to 'ascribe to Best equal share in the discovery'.
