Dear Dr. Clowes:
I am returning Ione Leonard, who has been under our care for the past eight or nine weeks to Dr. H. E. Nelson o Dayton, Iowa. She has been taking about 50 c.c. of Insulin per week and I have arranged with Dr. Nelson that he carry on the treatment. Will you knidly supply Dr. Nelson with Insulin.
We are also returning Janet Turnbull to Dr. Lichty, 4634 Fifth Ave. Pittsburg, Pa. She is a more severe case and required about 70 c.c. a week. Will you kindly put Dr. Lichty on your mailing list.
I has a letter from Mr. Blaustein of Baltimore today stating that Dr. Hamburger had not received the full amount required for the treatment of Myra Blaustein an d Ruth Whitehill. I trust that by now they will have received it.
In yesterday's letter I told you we were giving 100c.c. Blue Label at one time intraveneously to a diabetic coma. I regret to state that the acidosis increased up until six hours after the injection and we found it necess
