Carbon copy of a typescript letter. Macleod thanks Clowes for his interest in the manufacture of the 'Pancreatic extract' and explains that his group hopes to publish 'specifications for the determination of toxicity which will protect, as far as possible the purchaser.' He later indicates that if his group is unable to produce a standard potent extract within a month, Clowes will be contacted.
