Dear Freddie:-

I am sitting out alone in Brunswick Square, locked in as I have no key to the place so I'll soon have to jump the fence unless someone with a key soon comes in.
How is everything going? I have just had a letter from Charles Best in which he is very disconcerted in that the Dom. Govt did not re numerate him. I wish to h--- they had instead of me. I scarcely know how to answer him. It worries me.

I am waiting for Prof. V. E. thank god he will be here tonight. Freddie he is a peach I know of non better. We have been all over together, and soon go north to Edinburgh
