Autograph letter written on University of Toronto, Department of French letterhead and signed by J. Home Cameron. Prof. Cameron describes a translation he made of a letter written to the Insulin Committee from Algeria. Cameron comments on the content of the letter and the efforts of the Committee to control the quality of insulin.

The Insulin Committee regularly requested members of the University's language departments to translate letters for them.
J. Home Cameron was first appointed lecturer in French at the University of Toronto in 1891. He was Head of the Department of French until his retirement in 1926. He remained affiliated with the University of Toronto as Professor Emeritus until his death in 1944.
