New York City.
My dear Dr. Sachs,
I will be delighted to accept the invitation of the Medical Board of Mt. Sinai Hospital to give the Janeway lecture and would suggest the date of March 26th. If you think the audience would stand for about one and a half hours lecture I think I could satisfactorily cover the field in a general way in that time. This would suit me better than giving two lectures since I do not wish to be away from my laboratory longer than I can help. I have promised to go to Cincinnati on the 23rd and am to visit Indianapolis on the 24th so the date you suggest will fit in very well with my plans. I need not say that I feel greatly honoured at being asked to give this lecture and I would select as the title "Experimental work on Diabetes and Insulin".
I am
Sincerely yours,
JJRM/MG.
