It is true that we have been doing work on the influence
of Pancreatic extracts which has yeilded most encouraging results but
1 would rather hesitate to attempt the application of these results in
the treatment of human dabetes until we are absolutely certain of them.
Dr. Banting and - Mr Best who have been doing this worlc, are to report
their findings at the roeetiiKf "of hysiological Society at Hew Haven,
by which time we expect to be in a position to come to a definite con-
clusion. I may say privately that l believe we have something that may
be of real value in the treatment of Diabetes and that we are hurrying
along the experiments as quicicly as possible. With regards I am
