We made an extract from a
pancreas, the ducts of which had been
tied for five weeks. We followed your
directions in preparing the extract - chilled
[?], [?] [Ruger's solution?] etc. Our first
trial was on a dog (410) whose pedicle
had been removed on July 18th. This
animal was running a blood sugar
7.2 and a G:N ratio of about 2:1. We
are inclosing a chart showing her
history. The extract seemed to have
a marked effect. The second trial was
on a dog (406) which was in a state of
coma. The chart shows the
