The label on the bottle and on the box reads: 'Insulin - Boots Physiologically Standardised 5 cc (20 units per cc), Manufactured and issued by Boots Pure Drug Company Limited, Nottingham, England under license from the Medical Research Council. Advertisements for this brand of insulin in May 1924 show that the price of insulin was dropping.
